Time

1. BASIC CALCULATION OF TIME: 10/5-6

Islam as a rule of life / ideology that completely and perfectly deliver a very serious concern about waktu.Ayat-paragraph below is a reflection of how the importance of time in the view of Islam.

Allah has sworn by time:

1. Wassubhi (By the time dawn / dawn): 89 / 1

2. Waddhuha (Demi Dhuha time): 93 / 1

3. Wannahaar (This Time noon): 92 / 2

4. Wal-Ashri (By Asr time): 103 / 1

5. Wal Laili (By the time night): 92 / 1, 93 / 2

II. Nature TIME

a. Time is fleeting

Time goes so fast, sometimes faster than we feel. At first glance good times faster than the time of grief. When in fact it's just a feeling people have it.

b. Time impossible again

Although a second, then again maybe not. So do not waste time.

c. Most expensive property

Having faith is most precious to us is time. We rarely feel that the real time is something very valuable that we sometimes let him in vain. Without feeling guilty we fill it with to relax, talk in vain, in vain, etc. run the all in vain. (Imagine, if within one hour of a motor company can produce 10 pieces of the motor, means the day the company was able to make 10 X 24 hours = 240 motorcycles. Imagine if employees strike work in 5 hours, meaning the company lost 25 motorcycles). Naturally, if the Western proverb says "Time is money".

III. TIME IS AMANAH.

Harm to people who do not utilize the time 103/1-3

Surely every man is added plus days lost, plus added old losers, because people were given a limited period of time or 30 / 8 and 2 / 36. So humans will be two categories:

1. Class are the losers, ie groups of people who were given limited time but not used for worship to Allah.

2. Class of people who are lucky, the group described in the third paragraph of the letter of Al-Ashr earlier: illalladzina aamanu wa'amilu-shoolihaati, except those that are effective, which makes the accretion time as improving the quality of faith. People are definitely lucky are those who have entrusted themselves to Allah alone. So that all aspects of life ready to be set only by the rules of Allah alone, the consequences are ready to let go of all aspects of life outside the rules of Allah. This is a form of life of people who have entrusted themselves only to Allah, so that the activities of life will realize a pious deeds / works are spectacular. "Watawaa shoubil watawaa shoubish shobri haq", and at all times continue to improve herself, so her presence in the world is becoming the way of advice, both with our speech and behavior for others, in truth and patience.

Based on the information earlier, Islam teaches us to use four cases are: Faith-Amal Sholeh-advice-advise in obeying the truth-and advice-advise in honor of patience. So first we have to do is to improve the quality of our faith to Allah. The higher the level of our belief in Allah, then our hearts will be quiet (13/28). Instead declining our faith, then we will always be forever plagued by anxiety, restless, anxious, fearful, easily stressed, confused, anxious and tired of this life.

And good faith to Allah is the belief in maintaining the trust of time. Increasing our faith is directly proportional to the increase in our deeds. Therefore, if we will face a time, do-nothing, want to talk, want to think, to act first we must ask ourselves whether we did this become good deeds or not, if yes, then do a quick-quick. And conversely, if there is disobedience soon will add undo.

Remember always that what is in us is trust. Our mouth is trustworthy. Never used to talk in vain. There are still many more useful words, make sure that what we say be charitable. Ears and our eyes are trustful. When we turn on the TV, radio, Ask us if we hear this a charity? What we see is a charity? What we read can improve themselves. Hearts and minds is the mandate therefore should not be used to imagine and think the absurd. All it will take time. Shaykh Muhammad al-Ghozali said:

"Maintaining the trust is performing well the rights of Allah and human rights are not affected by changing circumstances, both hard and happy".

The next step, to improve the quality of our faith and charity is charity do not procrastinate. There are stories about how expensive the price of a good opportunity. Someone said: "One time I walked around with Sufyan ibn Uyainah. At that time there was a beggar, but he can not be forced to give him so beliaupun cry. I asked: "O Abu Muhammad (call for Sufyan) What makes you cry?", He replied: "Is there a bigger disaster, when someone gives you a chance to do good, while you can not do it?".

Many of the deeds we do to fill time. So is the advice-advise, do what we can do with an oral, with behavior. Improve the quality of our advice to the counsel of others.

IV. TIME addressing.

Commenting on the letters A-Ashr, Imam Syafii said that "enough with the letter of Al-Ashr, the Qur'an is represented". Subhanalloh, It appeared from this saying how important time in the sight of Allah.

It is said that once when Caliph Umar bin Abdul Aziz when he got home after taking care of the bodies his brother Sulaiman ibn Abdul Malik, Umar is resting a nap, then came his son Abdul Malik, and he asked, "O Commander of the Faithful, the hell does that put you in the afternoon this hole? ". "I'm tired, I needed a break". Replied his father. Abdul Malik said, "Pantaskah when you rest a lot of work to do, see there are oppressed people still need your help". "All night long I kept my uncle and it encourages me to rest, then after noon prayers I will restore the rights of the oppressed and persecuted", said his father. His son asked again, "O Commander of the Faithful, who can guarantee you alive until noon. What if Allah destined you die now? "Then 'Umar got up and left with a sack load of wheat, then look for people who are starving.

In this story, It appeared how heavy the responsibility to manage time. Subhanalloh, let us seek refuge in Allah from the negligent use of time as he begged to be given the ability to manage time with the optimal, full of meaning, in accordance with the guidance of Allah and His Messenger.

There are two things we need to do to have advantages in life, namely:

1. Time Fill Must Allow Same But Different.

Allah says dalamn a hadith qudsi, "At every dawn there are two angels who cry out," O son of Adam, I was a new day, and I came to see the deeds. Therefore I use all the best. Because I'm not going back again so the day the court ". (HR.Turmudzi)

2. Now Must Better than Earlier.

Messenger s.a.w. reminds us with his saying:

"Those who today is the same as yesterday then he is one of the losers". (HR.Dailami).

There is a verse: "Whoever today better than yesterday, so he was lucky. Those who today is the same as yesterday so he lost. And whoever is worse today than yesterday so he zholim ". Hence our only option is "today should be more than here", even if you can now haruis better than earlier.

Messenger s.a.w. himself reminds us: "Look for the five before coming to five, that is your youth before your old days, health before coming your pain, kayamu before datsebelum matimu, and mseggangmu sempitmu before coming period". (HR.Hakim).

V. PRACTICAL TIME MANAGEMENT TIPS.

A. SETTING THE TIME

By regulating the time, a person can plan their activities, priorities and which ones are not, based on:

-Very important - Very urgent = Done on first order

-Not important - Very urgent = Done in the second

-Very important - not urgent = Done in third

-Not important - not urgent = Done in fourth

Word of Muhammad, "like for a Muslim is a sensible - has four times: when Munajat to his Lord, when to hold the count against him, the time to ponder about his creation, and when to set aside time to find the need to eat and drink". (HR.Ibnu Hibban).

B. WORK ON TIME.

In his will to 'Umar bin Khattab when appointed as caliph, Abu Bakr said, "Know, verily Allah will not practice at a time when daylight is received at night & practice at night will not be accepted at the time of day". It shows everything is pre-determined time. Each one must not take precedence or delayed. Allah has pointed out how to set the time with a time of prayer, fasting, Hajj, Zakat etc..

C. MAKE DAILY PROGRAM.

Our life as a Muslim should be scheduled neatly from hour to hour every day. In making the daily program there are several things to be done so that we get optimal results:

1. Orderly and organized.

2. Discipline and planned (there should be a target, a backup plan and discipline).

3. Data and information is accurate.

4. Providing facilities / equipment that is affordable.

5. Do not delay and buy time.

6. Always on time.

7. Beware of thief of time.

There are several things that often steal our time:

1. Useless chatter

2. TV and Radio.

3. Hobby that does not mean.

4. No sense of mischief and fun.

5. Daydream in vain.

To be an effective in regulating the time, we must be fair in dividing it. There is the right husband or wife, children, parents, religious rights, neighboring rights, the right of self-improvement, the right evaluation, rest, recreation rights; all must be divided fairly.

"Fa idzaa faraghta fanshob. Wa ilaa robbika farghob ". (Surat Al-Insyirah: 7-8). Meaning: So when you have finished (from an affair), then do it (the affairs of others) seriously, and only to Allah was the one you wish ". Over all it is how to make things as charitable fields in order of worship to Allah SWT. Since however in the end to Robb was the one we will return. Wallohu bisshowab knows best.

Note: The material above has been no reckoning upon the calculation of daily practice. Question: How many hours of time that you provide to Allah?
